- Recertification:
- The Australian Resuscitation Councils (ARC) recommends that First Aid is renewed every 3 years and CPR/Advanced Resuscitation should be updated every 12 months.
- Prerequisites:
- To enrol into this course all students must be aged 18 or above. Exceptions can be found under the Enrolment Policy.

This skill set provides a set of skills to establish, maintain and facilitate the provision of appropriate first aid in a workplace environment, including the skills to provide an emergency first aid response in the event of an emergency.

HLTSS00068 Occupational First Aid Skill Set is provided if the student has met all the following Units of Competency :
HLTAID014 Provide advanced First Aid
HLTAID015 Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy*
HLTAID016 Manage First Aid services and resources
Note: Units marked with* have prerequisite HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

Students will be notified by H & A Training RTO 90871 in the event that there are any changes to the provider or unit/s the student is enrolled in.
Students do not need to bring any learning materials or resources with them to complete this course, but should note that this course is designed to be run in a remote/wilderness environment and is run over two days. This means that students should be self-sufficient including food, water, shelter, etc. Further details can be discussed by contacting our office.
Release 2. HLTSS00068 Occupational First Aid Skill Set supersedes and is equivalent to Release 1. HLTSS00068 Occupational First Aid Skill Set.
