- Be aged 14 or above to enrol into this course. Exceptions can be found under the Enrolment Policy.

This course is run as a full face-to-face course where 4 hours should be allowed to complete

Graduates of this course will be able to identify and provide a first aid response to anaphylaxis, develop strategies to prevent exposure to known allergens and minimize risks related to anaphylaxis.
Successful completion of this course will provide trainees with the knowledge and skills to be able to provide anaphylaxis first aid in the work place. It provides background knowledge of the causes, symptoms and the effects of anaphylaxis, as well as emergency treatment.

For this course, there are both written and practical tasks to complete.
The practical tasks are that each student must demonstrate how to correctly follow an action plan and administer an EpiPen.
The written tasks include a knowledge assessment.

Training is also delivered in a simulated environment or at your workplace (Minimum numbers are required, please see our company booking form to book)
Third Party Providers
We also have many third party providers in which case training and assessment is delivered on behalf of H & A Training RTO 90871. If completing a course through a third party provider, please arrange and contact the third party in this case.
Literacy and numeracy skills needed to complete this course should be high enough that each student is able to individually read, write understand and communicate in basic English.
Trainees with special needs either physical difficulties or literacy difficulties, should contact our office prior to enrolling so that assistance can be arranged for you.
The following certificate is provided if the student has met all the assessment requirements, payment has been made in full and a USI number is provided and verified:
